Cruises In Goa

'Along with golden and intoxicating beaches, Goa has long and wide beautiful rivers and scenic lakes making Goa an ideal location for long and languid river cruises. River cruises have become major tourist attractions, giving a boost to the tourism industry. Today the thriving river cruise industry in Goa is increasingly becoming bigger.

Select from the number of options available such as daytime, sunset or moonlit river cruises, to make your tour to Goa a memorable one. Have dinner, while you sail out into the sea passing through the beautiful Goa coastline or relax, while listening to music on the evening cruise and have a chance of spotting dolphins or crocodiles.

Goa Tourism Development Corporation Limited (GTDC Ltd.) has introduced various cruises, namely, Dolphin Fantasy, Pearl of the Orient and Backwater Thrills to Savoi Verem on board Poseidon, a newly acquired 24-seater fibreglas luxury launch. Schedule of the cruises is given as below:

Sunset Cruise
Time: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Sundown Cruise
Time: 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM

Full Moon Cruise
Time: 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Dinner available on board at extra cost

Pleasure Cruise
This cruise includes visits to St. Thomas Church of Aldona and Old Fort of Khorjuvem.
Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Dolphin Fantasy Cruise:-
Takes you on a trip to watch the dark graceful water beauties in playful mood. Besides to sight closely the headlands jutting out into the sea crowned on either side by Raj Bhavan, Aguada Fort and Reis Magos.
Days of operation: On every Monday only.
Timings: From 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Pearl of the Orient:-
A blend of natural and cultural heritage - a memorial cruise walking tour of Old Goa.
Days of operation: On every Saturday.
Timings: From 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
